We're fund raising!
Five year old Samantha Donovan is in the fight for her life as she
battles a rare form of Leukemia for the second time. In her first few
days after being diagnosed with cancer, Sam named her support team “Team
Super Everybody” telling her parents that they will get through this
together. Sam has undergone multiple rounds of chemo therapy, radiation
treatment and most recently a bone marrow transplant. Sam and her
parents have been staying at BC Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald
House in Vancouver for the majority of the past 18 months. During this
time, Sam’s parents have been unable to work and have lost extended
medical benefits and the ability to pay critical medical and housing
bills. By purchasing a bracelet, which you can get in the studio for $5,
you help support the family physically, emotionally and financially!

It's Our Anniversary!
We are pleased to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Dolly's Skin Art. It has been an intense and exciting journey. We have been so busy we almost missed the anniversary! Thank you to our great clients, colleagues, family, friends, and anyone who has simply expressed support.
We wanted to help change the misconceptions of tattoos and tattoo studios. Visitors to the studio have commented on how they love the bright clean look and the feeling of being at a spa. Your enthusiasm is encouraging. Your referrals have helped make our first year amazing. You even nominated us for two Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence awards!
We attended international tattoo conventions to keep up with trends. And we learned by taking your design ideas and customizing them for you. Tattoos often mark an important life event. Many of you have made a point to tell us you appreciate that you could share the meaning behind your design ideas. Honestly, we are honoured to be part of the process. And we've built a lot of special relationships.
Yes, it has been an amazing year! The highlight and most rewarding for us – we have experienced so much emotion from our clients when we help them to express a memory or a belief.
